The Challenge

The pasta category is saturated with rustic, traditional, muted Italian branding. CIAO! needed to stand out instantly in a crowded fast-casual market, feel modern and culturally relevant, appeal to Gen Z and millennial consumers, be built for social-first visibility, and translate seamlessly across packaging, pop-ups, and merchandise. The challenge was transforming a simple food concept into a high-energy brand experience that thrives both in real life and on social media.
